The Zadists from Sivens, 2014
The Zadists come from different alternative movements (libertarians, anti-capitalists, hackers, feminists, antifascists, ecologists…). They occupy the sites, named Z.A.D. (Zone À Défendre) of the projects they contest (Notre-Dame-des-Landes, Sivens dam…). The Zadists, descendants of the opponents of the Larzac camp, form, by the methods they use, one of the most active social movements of this beginning of century. For these portraits I ask my models to pose in the setting of their action.
This series was made on two occasions, the first during the protest against the construction of the dam on October 25, 2014 in Sivens, the second, during the reconstruction of the Zone à Défendre destroyed during the clashes with the mobile gendarmes the night Rémi Fraisse was killed at 21 years by a grenade.
