Diego Levy
biographY
Diego Levy is an Argentinian photographer, born in 1973, he is based in Buenos Aires. Professional photographer since 1991, he lives and works in Buenos Aires. From 1996 to 2000, he worked for Clarin, the most famous daily newspaper in Argentina. In 2001, he won the first prize of the Concurso Nuevo Periodismo of the Fundacion Nuevo Periodismo Iberoamericano, presided by Gabriel Garcia Marquez for his work on street violence in Buenos Aires. In 2003, he was a finalist for the annual contest of the international Fund for Documentary Photography, awarded for social stories by the Fifty Crows Organization, based in San Francisco, California. Between 2003 and 2004, he was the picture editor of the TXT magazine.
