Ferhat Bouda follows in the tradition of documentary photography. He conducts long-term investigations around the world. Continuing the work he did in the notebook, for this new exhibition he decided to revisit his archives and combine photographs from various series taken between 2005 and 2023, most of them in black and white. In a world ravaged by capitalism and its new forms of predation, his gaze turns to minorities, notably the Berber communities in North and West Africa (Algeria, Burkina Faso, Mauritania, Morocco, Niger, Tunisia), but also to the Roma community in Perpignan, the homeless in Germany and urbanised nomads in Mongolia.
