As part of Theme #51, “One is the other,” the Théâtre Liberté is hosting Camille Brasselet’s photography exhibition, Alter, at the Théâtre Liberté from January 13, 2026, to April 27, 2026.
Everything looks the same, but everything is different. Everything is other. The image of oneself is diluted through a double, a character who would have the same role, like an entrance on stage with one’s understudy. An otherness of oneself through a copy, an omnipresent alter ego, disturbs the notion of identity and highlights, in the same way as an imitation of reality through image, a double observer of one’s own existence.
A world is staged like a model with its copies and originals merging together, leaving only the confusion of an imperfect resemblance.
