From here and There, portraits of migrants in Cenon retraces the lives of a dozen people who have accepted to share their stories, that of an immigration that is sometimes chosen, most of the time suffered, that has led them to Cenon where they live today, between the joys and difficulties of everyday life. Little stories that cross the big one. Little stories of courage, learning a difficult language, integrating into a society that is not always benevolent, looking for work and housing, and dignity that is often abused. Christophe Goussard photographed them in their privacy, in places they love. He also captured objects that reflect their past and present history. Éric Bonneau interviewed them at length to write sensitive, subjective, literary and humane portraits.
