Federal City is the third installment in Louie Palu’s ongoing critically acclaimed self-published newspaper series, which examines the many layers of the United States.
This is a concept newspaper, it has no competing articles or advertising. It is the third publication in a series as part of an editing project using photographs taken by Louie Palu in Washington, D.C. during the presidencies of George W. Bush and Barack Obama. None of these photographs were taken as assignments for any publications, this was an independently produced project from 2007-2017. This concept is a newspaper to be dismantled and re-edited to your view of what you think the story should look like. It is also an exhibition that can be hung anywhere you choose. You are the editor and curator.
