« Yrkingar » is a diacritic photo essay from the Faroe Islands.
Situated between the Norwegian Sea and the North Atlantic Ocean, the Faroe Islands have always been an isolated society of approximately 450 square miles of volcano remains.
The archipelago has always been home to an isolated society. Through this project, which is still ongoing, Laerke Posselt takes us on a journey to the heart of the traditions, landscapes, culture and religion that punctuate the lives of its 50,000 or so inhabitants.
