Another way of living, 2011
In the heart of the secret valleys of the Pyrenees, strange habitats are flourishing nowadays, perhaps a little more than elsewhere. Made of straw, canvas or on wheels, these more or less ecological homes often rhyme with solidarity economy, militancy and social or emotional rupture. Ephemeral, mobile or built to last a few years, they also signal a nomadic reality made up of temporary or settled precariousness, which is combined with the declared will to face up to it by inventing another way of living. And to create a haven of peace in a preserved nature, even if it means making some compromises with the law. Diving without a net into the camouflaged universe of light dwellings, nestled between dreams of autonomy and the obstacles of reality.
