Overhanging, on a neutral background, people meet in urban spaces, in anonymous cities from which any architectural reference is excluded. Only the figures structure the image, wandering, strolling, strolling, going about their business.
Denis Darzacq then focused on their movements, gestures and clothing; he observed the distance between them and studied those between the intimate and the public. The bodies cross and collide, before they can find their way through the crowd. But sometimes, an isolated figure appears on the margins of these gatherings.
The public space as a theatre of life, filled with characters who are both actors and spectators of their movements.
