Thinking Heads, 2006
This work reflects the collective assignments from Le Monde in its psychology section.
Every two months, Bertoux had to embody the immaterial of the world of psychology: what we all feel, without being able to describe it. In these images we find ordinary objects in extraordinary situations.
The technical mastery present in these images aside, the photographer manages to tell the ineffable. Each picture represents in itself a story familiar, yet strangely captivating.
