The national Park of Joshua Tree is located in the south-east of California. It is the home of two distinct desert ecosystems: the Colorado Desert and the Mojave Desert.
The Park was a privileged retreat for the hippie community of Los Angeles around 1970.
The park is the habitat of the Joshua tree, a species found only in the southwestern of the United States.
