NNIPAS, 2016
The NNIPAS project (acronym of “Nous N’Irions Pas Si” “We would not go if”) is written by several hands (photographer, illustrator, writer – the images presented here are all by Vincent Catala). This collective work, inspired by Guy Debord’s situationism, has given rise to several artistic residencies in France and Jordan. The NNIPAS protocol is simple: to confront oneself for a few days with a place, urban or not. The ambition of the project is to deliver an interpretation of this place by proposing a universe created from proven situations. It is these situations that determine the arrangement of the stories into a single one.
