Napoli, 2012
Yvon Lambert has a very special relationship with the city of Naples, since he first discovered it twenty years ago to let us discover his vision far from tourist clichés. The result of this expedition was compiled into a book entitled “Naples – A Winter”.
In 2011, the photographer wanted to return to the scene to see if he would find his emotions of yesteryear and brought us lots of images that radiate this atmosphere very specific to Yvon Lambert’s photographs. It gives us the desire to travel, to go against these characters coming out of the shadows and dark alleys but not in the way of a tourist guide who presents us a city at its best with explicit photographs “in colour and blue sky”.
