Le Temps de l’immaturité, 2018 – in progress
Series initiated in Lodz, Poland in 2018, that received the support of the Agnès b. endowment fund in 2021.
The subject is Polish youth whose bodies are in the grip of the discomfort of political, social, relational or introspective tensions. The contemporaneity of Gombrowicz’s work, a street structuralist, appears in the background of the series. Inter-human relations, the process of forming a man by others, imposing a deformation and dependence against which he preserves himself by affirming his authenticity through the recognition of the immaturity inherent in man’s nature.
In 2023, the series will continue in Argentina (Buenos Aires) where the writer lived for 24 years and a final chapter in Vence where he spent the last 5 years of his life.
