Cuenca en la mirada, 2003/2005
Juan Manuel Castro Prieto criss-crossed the Spanish province, Cuenca, as part of a collective photographic program launch by the Provincial Council of Cuenca in 2004.
Is with many illusions and apprehensions that I’ve began this work. I came to the conclusion that I couldn’t succeed to capture the whole soul of Cuenca, either the whole of its entire geographic and spiritual spaces. For almost two years, along my numerous travels, I have been looking for anything that could surprise or move me.
