Copacabana does not answer anymore, 2020
An aging, precarious population in a densely populated urban area: all the ingredients were there to make the famous Copacabana district in Rio a breeding ground for the coronavirus pandemic. The imperialism of Jair Bolsonaro’s government did nothing to stop the announced catastrophe. And the once glamorous streets of “the little princess of the sea” have become the epicenter of the health crisis. Like an allegory of the situation in Brazil.
