A Wall on the Horizon, 2010
“For four years I created workshops for pupils of a reception class at the ”Jean Renoir” secondary school in Bondy. This project benefits from three sound creators (Anna Salzberg, Arnaud Forest, Jeanne Robet) and one photographer working together. It uses sounds and images in order to reveal narratives, portraits and sound ambiences carrying the universe of young newcomers. It highlights the way they look at the French society.
This work has been exhibited in October 2007 at the Manufacture de Sèvres and in January 2008 at the Nef in Pantin through an art installation mixing different mediums such as video, photography and sound. It has been also showed several times in situ at Jean Renoir secondary school and has been supported by the Fondation de France, the Local Education Authority, the European Social Fund and Arte Radio.”
