Interpresse Agency’s collection
1950 — 1975

In 1991, Swiss photographer Steeve Iuncker, took over Interpresse Agency’s collection. Founded in the Fifties in Geneva by Jacques Kernen, the agency was managed from 1961 by the photographer Eric Aldag.

Between 1950 and 1975, Interpresse’s photographers immortalized the most important icons of the time.
Amongst whom : musicians and singers (Louis Armstrong, Joan Baez, Jacques Brel or Juliette Gréco), artists (Marc Chagall) and actors (Romy Schneider, Brigitte Bardot, Charlie Chaplin, Audrey Hepburn and Sean Connery on James Bond Goldfinger’s shooting in 1963).

A testimony of an area, these photographs, marked with glamour and fascination, bring us back in the particular atmosphere of the Sixties and the Seventies.
