Exploring the multiple variations of the guard, he highlights both the plurality and the singularity of guarding.

Forest wardens, shepherds, customs officers, prison guards, monks, or even receptionists, the photographer plays with the subject and takes us on a journey through the Alpes-Maritimes department, from guard to guard.

The images created each carry the strength of a magnified individuality and, taken together, offer us an overall view of guarding, a function that is somewhat unknown despite its importance in our society.
