In 2011, the Société du Grand Paris asked Pierre-Olivier Deschamps to draw up an inventory, a photographic inventory of 57 sites for future stations. This picture wall brings together a selection of 84 images from the 4,000 he produced over nearly three years, from 2011 to 2013. It has travelled across the territory using public transport, has identified the locations of current and future stations, the cities in their diversity, their urban planning, their organisation and their colours. The in-betweens are also revealed, these landscapes in the process of transformation, the precarious subsistence of an unreal nature, the real estate programs composing the new faces of cities, the inhabitants marking with their immobile or moving silhouette what life does to the city: accident, chance, an encounter.
The ground is always present, an essential element of the identity of these territories which appear in these very graphic compositions, reflected to the point of vertigo.and spectacular, give rise to a singular emotion.
