Pierre-Olivier Deschamps — Architecture et photographie
Galerie Caue 92
9, place Nelson Mandela, 92000, Nanterre
From April 06 to April 29, 2017
For the 2017 Month of Photography, Pierre-Olivier Deschamps presents an excerpt from his series on the locations of the future stations of the Grand Paris public transportation network in a group exhibition that brings together photography and architecture. The series, which was commissioned in the same vein as the Datar series in the 1980s, offers a view of the changing French landscape.
From 2011 to 2013, Pierre-Olivier Deschamps produced 57 reports on the various urban and suburban territories that will host these future stations. Each place was photographed in a strictly topographical manner at first, thus serving as a reference for the photographer and as a tool for the Société du Grand Paris design teams, then with complete freedom in a second phase. At the CAUE92 gallery, you can see his work on the future stations of the Hauts-de-Seine, as well as the work of photographers Bérénice Abbott, Tom Arndt, Hélène Binet, Boegly + Grazia, Markus Brunetti, Stéphane Couturier, Maxime Delvaux, Michel Denancé, Pierre-Olivier Deschamps, Filip Dujardin, Georges Fessy, Hufton & Crow, Laurent Kronental, NAARO, Yves Marchand & Romain Meffre, Schnepp-Renou, Cyrille Weiner.
