For its 7th edition, the Mois de la photo will be highlighting new hybridizations in photography, i.e. creative manipulations such as photo-montage, photocollage, serial photography, photo-painting and other new hybridizations.

Madrid-based artist Ouka Leele is guest of honor at the Month of Photography.

At the crossroads of photography and painting, her work has no equal.
A leading figure in the Movida movement and winner of the National Photography Prize, Ouka Leele stages and photographs the world in the form of still lifes and portraits, largely inspired by iconography close to classical or surrealist painting. The photographic print is then used as a support, which the artist paints with watercolors and adorns with tender or sometimes garish colors, in a vision that is deliberately dreamlike, burlesque or nightmarish, free from convention.
