The Vieille Église Saint-Vincent of Mérignac receives series from Juan Manuel Castro Prieto’s trips. It is the very first monographical exhibition dedicated to Spanish photographer taking place in France. His beautiful work shot in Ethiopia, Peru or in his home village of Cespedosa is displayed.
Juan Manuel Castro Prieto built over more than forty years of career of infinite richness. Thanks to his knowledge of the photographic printing and shooting, including dark room tools, he ingeniously plays with light, soft focus, black and white and colour. He uses his technical virtuosity at a sensitive and introspective plastic universe’s service.
