The work of the American photographer Jane Evelyn Atwood reflects a deep intimacy with her subjects, woven over the years. Fascinated by people outside the norm and by the notion of exclusion, she penetrates worlds that most of us ignore or choose to ignore.
Organised around major series (prostitutes, the blind, women in prison, Jean-Louis / Living and dying of AIDS) and photographs on different topics, the exhibition recounts 35 years of work.
