This exhibition is an original project by Israel Ariño.
It is a transversal line in several series produced over the last fifteen years of his career, a collection of images from different environments, obtained from a cross-practice of wandering and photography.
The exhibition gives voice to less visible, more mysterious everyday geographies, showing the experiences as well as the hopes of inhabitants, spaces frozen in time and those undergoing transformation. In short, Israel Ariño explores the field of possibilities of the ordinary to reveal the extraordinary, to modify the appearance of reality, to confuse the viewer and lead him to complete the meaning of history. The aim is never to draw up an inventory or a portrait of a place, but to offer a sensitive and dynamic immersion in sparsely populated territories, where we often think nothing happens.
