Hugues de Wurstemberger — Pauline et Pierre
Nuithonie
Rue du Centre 7 – 1752 Villars-sur-Glâne (SWITZERLAND)
From January 21 to June 30 2021
When I left Fribourg in 1979, I had the feeling that I was leaving Switzerland for good, I took with me some images of my mother, of landscapes that I loved. The mother and the land.
These images, little by little, obscurely, became vital to me and then there were others. The notebook took time to become, from sketch to album, this incomplete chronicle of my family, Brigitte my wife, Pauline and Pierre our two children. The story that goes from one to the other, from the sea to the mountains, from my old mother to her grandchildren, from memories to the chaos of life. There the sand moves, here the snow melts, here and there the trace is furtive.
“Pauline et Pierre” was formed like a fold in the sand, written in the water of time and goes, in the manner of Blaise Cendrars, “From the whole world to the heart of the world”, this journal collects my thoughts, from time to time.
