Sur un pli du temps (title borrowed from a poem by Bernard Noël) is a wander through the photographic universe of Gérard Rondeau organised by the Communauté de communes du Haut-Lignon (Haute-Loire) in July and August 2021.
Six villages, six exhibitions, six themes drawn from the work of the photographer who died prematurely prematurely passed away in 2016. Curator of the exhibitions Sylvie Rondeau.
Preserved memory of the ravages of war on the Chemin des Dames and in besieged Sarajevo, symbols of the Republic and the other side of the coin of great museums, religious architectural heritage. With Gérard Rondeau, even stones have a soul. Artists, famous writers, runners and anonymous spectators of the Tour de France have all found themselves in the sights of his Leica.
More than 300 photographs by Gérard Rondeau to be seen and seen again this summer in this land steeped in history that is the Haut-Lignon on the borders of the Auvergne and the Ardèche.
