Sasha, who was once a little girl, has grown up. She has become a young girl, searching for herself both in the mirror and in her mother’s original territory. It’s a land of forest, magic and images, a land where we can invent tales and illusions, meet elves and cover our changing bodies in mud, where we become ephemeral statues for a moment and then emerge from their gangue.

The author frequently explores faces still imbued with adolescence. With Sasha, she approaches her daughter, her dreams and her girlish antics. A daughter in search of her mother, exploring a territory of forest, magic and images in which tales and illusions are invented.

Claudine Doury captures with modesty and tenderness these moments of solitude and fragility that will soon disappear into the limbo of a lost adolescence.
