To mark the 50th anniversary of Libération, the National Archives are devoting an exhibition to photographs commissioned or published by Libération since the newspaper was founded in 1973. The photographs take visitors on a journey across history, told through the eyes of Libération – from decade to decade, delving into each era from the 1970s to the present day. From Sartre to Macron, Lip to the feminist gluers. It features Agence VU’ photographers Claudine Doury, Cyril Zannettacci, Guillaume Herbaut and Pierre-Olivier Deschamps.
