Ville de Champigny – Paysage urbain, Paysage humain
During a photographic residency in 2021-2022, Pierre-Olivier Deschamps produced a series of portraits of the inhabitants of Champigny-sur-Marne in their homes, as well as an exploration of the urban landscapes of their neighbourhood.
Taking the time required by film photography, Pierre-Olivier Deschamps created an exchange and a proximity with the inhabitants who played the game of portraiture.
In parallel to this work, Pierre-Olivier Deschamps conducted a photographic workshop with a primary school class at the Jacques Solomon school, giving them the opportunity to practice portraiture.
