Franck Ferville went to meet the inhabitants of his village, to paint a portrait of this new generation increasingly attracted by rural life.<\/p>\n

These photographs were taken at the Villiers-sous-Grez brewery, the only business in the village that only opens its doors at the end of the day, two days a week. In the evening, this basement is transformed into a buzzing beehive. So it’s the only place where we can meet in Villiers-sous-Grez. The rest of the time, the village looks like a deserted, lifeless place.<\/p>\n

Newly settled in the village, ex-Parisian, I almost met my new adopted family by setting up an ephemeral studio in the brewery for two nights.<\/p>\n

At a time when ecological problems, but also financial constraints, are pushing more and more urban dwellers to flee large cities, I find it interesting to paint a portrait of these new rural people, who are giving a new face to the countryside.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
