Since 1998, he has been shooting reports and portraits for the press: first for <em>The Independant<\/em> until 2001, then as a freelance photographer for various titles of the European press (<em>Weekend Guardian Magazine, Sunday Times Magazine, Telegraph Magazine, Le Monde, <\/em>or<em> Lib\u00e9ration<\/em>) until 2011.<\/p>\n<p>At the same time Michael Grieve has documented political, social and daily life in England: riots, crime, the sex industry (<em>No Love Lost<\/em>), but also freeway and airport hotels (<em>In Passing<\/em>)&#8230; These personal works&nbsp; are exhibited in Europe, notably at the Rencontres d&#8217;Arles (France) in 2008, at the Noorderlicht Festival (Netherlands) in 2009 and at the Fotofestiwal (Poland) in 2010.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/div><div class=\"flex_column av_two_fifth  av-break-at-tablet flex_column_div av-zero-column-padding   avia-builder-el-16  el_after_av_two_fifth  avia-builder-el-last  \" style='border-radius:0px; '><section class=\"av_textblock_section \"  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div class='avia_textblock  '   itemprop=\"text\" ><p>During the 2010s, he explores new perspectives: he leaves London, develops a more auto-fictional photographic writing where&nbsp;
