Fran\u00e7oise Huguier, who lived a decisive episode during her childhood \u2013 she was kidnapped at the age of eight by Viet Minhs in Cambodia and held hostage for eight months in the “cursed jungle”\u2013, decided today, to puts words, and only words, on her astonishing experience of life. Her autobiography goes back to the most intimate of her photographic choices, starting with learning the job as a laboratory worker, where she spent her days in the dark developing film shots. It also the portrait of a free and determined women who never allows herself to be imposed. Fran\u00e7oise Huguier appears here as an explorer who has nothing to envy to the women pioneers of the last century.
