Photographs taken are meant to represent the present. The ones we look at allow us to reintegrate the past. The future escapes the photographic. But is it really the case? In signs of daylight, the past mingles with the present in a state of consciousness called the photographic state. But Bertrand Carri\u00e8re’s images deploy an even more complex temporality, the possibility for the photographer to fix images that can be recognized afterwards, as if they were omens.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section>
