A photographer with an unusual career path and a graphic designer specialising in the music industry,
\nI was fortunate enough to be noticed by Jean-Louis Murat and to enjoy his trust for many years.
\nHe, who for a long time allowed no one but himself to photograph him,
\nregularly summoned me to his estate in Auvergne to pose for my camera,
\ninviting me, without saying so, to push him beyond his reluctance and limitations, and to abandon ourselves together to the photographic moment, guided only by our intuition.
\nTogether, we did several photo shoots, all on film, and created nine album covers… Jean-Louis Murat passed away on 25 May 2023.
\nHe left without warning, as Indians sometimes do.
\nWe miss his art and poetry terribly, as he walks through the great prairie, nose in the wind, chewing on a twig.
\nHe leaves behind an immense body of work. He also leaves behind these images, almost animated, like little photoramas that I am privileged to share.
\nAnd a story to tell.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section>
