As part of the French government’s plan to support the press industry, the Ministry of Culture has entrusted the Biblioth\u00e8que nationale de France with the implementation of a major photographic commission for photojournalists.<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Two calls for projects, one launched in 2021, the other in 2022, have enabled 200 winners to be selected on the basis of their background and their proposal. This commission recognizes and encourages contemporary creation in the field of photojournalism and press photography.<\/p>\n

At the end of the commission, BnF will integrate these works into the national collections in its care. It will be responsible for disseminating these works through a retrospective exhibition in the fall of 2024, and through several promotional operations in partnership with institutions throughout France.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section>
