See You Thursday, 3 p.m.
For two years and until his death, Xavier and I met every Thursday at three o’clock in the afternoon. We photographed each other. In this way, I wanted to capture the evolution of his photographic gaze over time and our appointments, which was to last until his death. Every week, I recorded his thoughts and comments on tape, as well as short sequences, in 16 mm black and white to complement my photographic work. This cinematic essay was to be complementary, different from my photographic work.
